Invocations during Sujood

((سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الأَعْلَى)) ثلاث مرَّاتٍ.

((Subḥāna rabbiya al-ʾaʿlā)) thlāth mrrātin.

(How perfect my Lord is, The Most High.’(three times))

((سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَبِحَمْدِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي)).

((Subḥānaka allāhumma rabbanā wabiḥamdika, allāhumma ghfir lī)).

(How perfect You are O Allah, our Lord, and I praise You. O Allah, forgive me.)

((سُبوحٌ، قُدُّوسٌ، رَبُّ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالرُّوحِ)).

((Subwḥun, quddūsun, rabbu al-malāʾikati war-rūḥi)).

(Perfect and Holy (He is), Lord of the angles and the Rooh (i.e. Jibra-eel).)

((اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ سَجَدْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَلَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، سَجَدَ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي خَلَقَهُ، وَصَوَّرَهُ، وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ، تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسنُ الْخَالِقينَ)).

((Allāhumma laka sajadtu wabika āmantu, walaka aslamtu, sajada wajhiya lilladhī khalaqahu, waṣawwarahu, washaqqa samʿahu wabaṣarahu, tabāraka allāhu aḥsnu al-khāliqyna)).

(O Allah, unto You I have prostrated and in You I have believed, and unto You I have submitted. My face has prostrated before He Who created it and fashioned it, and brought forth its faculties of hearing and seeing. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators.)

((سُبْحَانَ ذِي الْجَبَرُوتِ، وَالْمَلَكُوتِ، وَالْكِبْرِيَاءِ، وَالْعَظَمَةِ)).

((Subḥāna dhī al-jabarūti, wal-malakūti, wal-kibriyāʾi, wal-ʿaẓamati)).

(How perfect He is, The Possessor of total power, sovereignty, magnificence and grandeur.)

((اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي كُلَّهُ: دِقَّهُ وَجِلَّهُ، وَأَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ، وَعَلاَنِيَّتَهُ وَسِرَّهُ)).

((Allāhumma ghfir lī dhanbī kullahu: diqqahu wajillahu, wa-awwalahu waʾākhirahu, waʿalāniyyatahu wasirrahu)).

(O Allah, forgive me all of my sins, the small and great of them, the first and last of them, and the seen and hidden of them.)

((اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَبِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقوبَتِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لاَ أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ، أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ)).

((Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu biriḍāka min sakhaṭika, wabimuʿāfātika min ʿuqwbatika, wa-aʿūdhu bika minka, lā uḥṣī thanāʾan ʿalayka, anta kamā athnayta ʿalā nafsika)).

(O Allah, I take refuge within Your pleasure from Your displeasure and within Your pardon from Your punishment, and I take refuge in You from You. I cannot enumerate Your praise, You are as You have praised Yourself.)
